Every HUNTER blast-resistant module (BRM) is assembled to meet critical safety standards. Most BRMs are minimally rated for 8 psi at a medium response. Along with safety, comfort helps ensure productivity Nicely finished walls and ceilings with communications panel, electrical outlets and a super-efficient HVAC unit are standard in every BRM unit.

Blast-Resistant Module FYI: Are blast-resistant modules regulated?

There are no official standards covering blast-resistant modules. The American Petroleum Institute (API) provides recommended best practices that include design, construction, installation and maintenance:

  • API 752 - blast-resistant guidelines for structures intended for permanent use in fixed locations

  • API 753 - blast-resistant guidelines for temporary and portable structures, such as blast-resistant modules.
